Foodswings' fourth

I enjoyed reggae fries and small house salad special; got a mock muffin and combo plate of buffalo 'wings' and mac+notcheese to go. Had some of the plate last night; maybe that's why I slept extra great and have a big smile on my face now. Hadn't realized (or remembered?) them being That Good. Also trains home were close in time, so barely 25 minutes and no Manhattan (going G to 7 to N/W). foodswings

Ben Jelen's "Ex-Sensitive"

Also a referral from Advocate 17Jul07 Sounds quite nice at a peek. Not enthralled with it, or finding it a must. Would be curious to have a DJ assistant/consultant that would go through the disc and pass on any 4/5 star tracks pre-labeled. With that new software Mojo this seems very doable (MusicDen lives, eh?). iTunes link

Tegan & Sara's "The Con"

Definitely reminds me of "The L Word" when it's more rockish, dramatic; believe they have some tracks among those soundtracks. This is a needed add for Collexion. iTunes link referral from Advocate 17Jul07

Brandy's back

Nice slower softer urban-ish track for Tyler Perry's new movie. Like the vocal arrangement, track is ok - want more excitement or something from it. Ah well, it's rather solid warm and good. She'll chart and slowly return to it all. Download Brandy Dig This - Supload.com - Free Music Hosting, Free Audio Hosting, Free Image Hosting, Free Video Hosting, Free Movie Hosting

Kylie Minogue brings Janet-esque "All I See"

Silly kids. Kylie's All I See sounds like retro Janet reflavored by NeYo and his main producing partners and spells HIT!! Also, feels like a nice breezy beat track for spring (going into summer with the top down). XO's Middle Eight

Rapid Read - Chart A Day

Thinking of doing a daily post with a non-celebrity chart - hmmm, well, maybe. Moreso charts of unknown folks reviewing for 10 or 15 minutes. Then composing and sharing my notes on here. Might start with Spring proper

A New Earth and upcoming transits

I'm interested in Oprah & Eckhart's online A New Earth webinar in relation to, at least, (a) Pluto transiting/entering Oprah's natal 1st house, and (b) the curious timing - and span - of this class What I'm noting during this span: Mars transits Cancer with an initial opposition (and 3rd, final pass) to Pluto sextiling Saturn in Virgo (still retrograde AND oversees Pluto) for much of March, Mercury & Venus are in Pisces. then a bit into April, they go into Aries - which is ruled by Mars (still in Cancer). This all precedes Pluto's final dance in Sag (approx. Father's Day through Thanksgiving). I am feeling like, yes, this may very well be another Summer of Love or like it. Let's keep an eye on the Republican and Democratic convention dates and see how we collectively flow There.
